Effective July 24, 2026 · Last updated July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how trueHuman collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our AI image and video creation service.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, contact us, make a purchase, or use trueHuman. This may include your name, email address, account credentials, payment and billing information, prompts, uploaded images or videos, generated content, and communications with us.
We also collect limited technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages visited, feature activity, and cookies or similar technologies used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Google user data
If you choose to sign in with Google, trueHuman receives basic account information authorized by you, such as your Google account name, email address, profile image, and a unique account identifier. We use this information only to create and authenticate your trueHuman account, display your profile, provide the service, prevent fraud, and communicate with you about your account.
trueHuman does not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, calendar, or other Google services. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. We do not transfer or disclose Google user data except to service providers that help us operate and secure trueHuman, when you direct us to do so, or when required by law.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain trueHuman; process image and video generation requests; manage accounts, credits, subscriptions, and payments; provide support; monitor performance; improve features; detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations; and send service-related communications.
Where permitted, we may send product or marketing updates. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message.
How we share information
We may share information with vendors that provide hosting, authentication, payment processing, analytics, communications, content generation, storage, and security services. These providers may process information only as needed to perform services for us. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of the business.
We do not sell your personal information.
Storage, security, and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.
Your choices and account deletion
You may update certain account information from your account settings. You may also revoke trueHuman’s Google access from your Google Account permissions. To request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information, email hello@truehuman.dev. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Deleting your trueHuman account or revoking Google access stops future access through that connection. We may retain limited information where required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcing agreements.
Children and international users
trueHuman is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as trueHuman evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@truehuman.dev.
